This cross border service offers the possibility to customers with interruptible GUD Emden capacity and GTS Emden capacity to backup capacity via GTS Emden and Oude Statenzijl in case of an interruption at GUD Emden entry. The backup will be carried out by GTS and GUD on the basis of adjustments to nominations done by the customer. This backup service via Oude Statenzijl is possible on an interruptible basis only. To make use of this service it is not necessary to book additional capacity at Oude Statenzijl.

The service is not subject to a service fee but customers using the service will not be eligible for a rebate for interruptions at GUD insofar there is an actual backup of interruption.
